Review
This is a field guide for beginner community organizers. It has a wide array of case studies, but is not sufficiently deep; I found it lacking in specific actionable details. I recommend reading The Art of Gathering instead.

The main thing I learned from this book is that scaling a gathering requires many different skills and tactics along the way. Managing a 10-person community is very different from managing a 100-person or 1,000-person community, and you require different mindsets, tactics, and collaborators along the way.
