I credit this book for the simple power of giving a name to the “Resistance”, a force that every creative has felt but never quite articulated as clearly as this book does. Once you see it, you see it everywhere.

You may otherwise call it “procrastination”, but this book goes deeper than that, deeper than the simple habits and triggers and psychology to call out the real reasons, anxieties, and emotional tumults that makes you afraid of doing your work.
