Eat That Frog!: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time by Brian Tracy
Review
“If the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that that is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long.”
It’s alright, I think procrastination is more of a result of inner emotional turmoil than any external systems you can have. There are some fun anecdotes that are written like a motivational seminar for business people who like to pay $1,000 for fun anecdotes, but I prefer the model of the Rider, the Elephant, and the Path. Deep Work and Atomic Habits are a better reads for practical productivity tips.
(Sidenote: It’s not clear if Mark Twain actually said the quote from which the book gets its title.)
